Portugal : Leg 2 rankings confirmedFollowing yesterday's Rally Portugal rankings suspension, it has been confirmed this morning that FIA marshalls gave the “benefit of the doubt” to the BP-Ford World Rally Team.
Marcus Gronholm's car was suspected of being underweight.
After recuperating pieces of the car which had been lost en route during the last stage of Leg 2, it seems the Ford Focus was re-weighed and marshalls decided to pursue the matter no further.
Marcus Gronholm therefore maintains his provisional second position and will continue Leg 3 of Rally Portugal.
