With Michel Saleh and a SubaruManufacturers and Drivers Champion title holder Atolye Kazaz (Subaru Turkey Rally Team) starts the season with FIA Middle East Rally Championship event Rally Oman which takes place in the Sultanate of Oman between March 14th and March 16th.
Rally Oman got underway at the Intercontinental Hotel in Muscat today, March 14th with the ceremonial start. Main action will start on Thursday morning as the crews head to twisty gravel special stages (14 stages, total of 247,46km) through the scenic Hajar mountains between Muscat and Quriyat.

Atolye Kazaz Team Director - Ercan Kazaz : "It is very important for Atolye Kazaz to be present at the FIA's 3rd most important series; Middle East Rally Championship. We had the chance to do our first MERC event with Abdo Feghali last year where we finished 2nd overall in Rally Lebanon. We are hoping to fly our flag on the coming events of MERC. But this years involvements won't stop here, stay tuned for more exciting projects from us."
