New team and new car for Belgian driverPeugeot Belgium has given Bernd Casier the chance to drive a 207 Super 2000 on the IRC this year.
The young Belgian has already begun to make a name for himself at home and abroad, and he will start his campaign on the Ypres-Westhoek
Rally from June 22-24. The asphalt event is one that he already knows well, as he finished fourth overall in 2005, at the wheel of a Peugeot 206 Super 1600.
Casier, who will be co-driven by Frederic Miclotte this year, said: “It's very motivating to begin a brand new championship with a new team and a new car."
"The level of competition in the IRC is sure to be very high, but I'm still feeling confident.”
