Norway : Aimont Racing Team - Finish
Gigi Galli and Giovanni Bernacchini in a Citroen Xsara of Aimont Racing Team prepared by PH Sport, finished sixth overall Rally Norway. 66 of the 73 crews that started the rally Thursday evening were ready to tackle the third leg.

A cold day welcomed the drivers early Sunday morning. The first speed test of the day was a second pass on the Mountain stage, already disputed the day before. Crews tackled the last stage of the day under w snowfall, the 44.28 km long Elverum, the longest of the rally. Rally Norway finished at 15.00 hrs in Hamar after a total of 1109.57 kilometres, including 18 special stages (355.9 km).

Gigi Galli drove steadily on Sunday, being always among the first ten without taking too many risks, and moving one place up in the leaderboard. Aimont Racing Team's driver, at his second 2007 World Rally Championship race, was getting used to his new Citroen Xsara WRC that he drove for the first time last weekend in Sweden.

“It's been a difficult race,” said Gigi Galli at the arrival “Yesterday (Saturday) it's been the hardest day in my driver's career. I'm satisfied with the result obtained at my second rally with the Citroen Xsara WRC and with Aimont Racing Team.
Now we'll have a little time before our next race, rally Portugal end of March, and we will make some test and the necessary adjustments to the car."

“It's a six place important for us,” said Pierfrancesco Zanchi Team Manager Aimont Racing Team. “These first two races were important to understand how to proceed, give time to Gigi to adapt to the new car and built up a strong and united, and we did it. We confirmed the agreement with Pirelli also for the next two races, Rally Portugal and Rally Argentina. Before our next race we will have time to analyze what we've done and to prepare at the best for the next races."

Next appointment for Gigi Galli and Aimont Racing Team is Rally Portugal (March 30th – April 1st). The Portuguese race this year has been reintegrated in the calendar of the FIA World Rally Championship.
