A new base to be unveiled in Europe
Suzuki's Sporting Director Nobuhiro Tajima announced that the design phase of the Suzuki World Rally Car is now over. The latest car of the Japanese team – the SX4 WRC – will start its development process in Japan.
Tajima also announced
the creation of a new base in Europe before the SX4 WRC is introduced in the World Rally Championship.
Suzuki Sports' Paul Wilding confirmed that the team's current Milton Keynes headquarters will still be used for their Junior World Rally Championship activities. Suzuki
Motor Corporation unveiled the SX4 WRC at the Geneva Motor Show in February 2006 and also announced its plan to compete in the World Championship starting in 2007.
