A Xsara for Tuohino in Finland
Janne's car will be prepared by PH Sport
Citroen recently announced that Janne Tuohino will drive a Xsara WRC prepared by PH Sport at the upcoming Rally Finland, the tenth round of the World Championship (18-20 August).
The Finn will drive the Citroen Xsara WRC that Toni
Gardemeister will use at the Acropolis Rally at the beginning of June. Gardemeister will also be at the start of Rallye Deutschland but will miss his home event, Rally Finland.

After achieving a great performance in Sweden, Janne Tuohino had to retire from the race in the final stage of the event when his car suffered from an engine failure.
At least Tuohino will have the opportunity to show what he is capable of once again, this time in his home event!

It will be quite a challenge for PH Sport, the German and Finnish events are separated by only four days and the characteristics of these two rallies are very different: "The dash between the asphalt event in Germany and the gravel rally in Finland will be a nightmare for everyone but especially for world championship teams because the engines and the chassis have to be paired," explained a team member of one of the WRC teams.

He added: "So not only do we face a long boat crossing but we then have to rebuild the cars into gravel specification."
