Sohlberg up two positions in Sardinia
Sardinia : Atolye Kazaz - Leg 2
Kristian Sohlberg climbed up two places on the second day of Rally d'Italia Sardegna, as the conditions were a little bit better than yesterday.
Kristian and Tomi had to complete first set of stages breathing dust in the car but after Service
D the problem was solved.

Sohlberg experienced no problems all day, just making small changes with the set up of the car. The Finnish duo finished Leg 2 8th overall, 27.5 seconds off Valimaki.

Kristian Sohlberg
"Today was better than yesterday. I lost 25 seconds because I stalled the car twice (SS 8 and SS9) after a spin in the hairpin and I could not get it started right away. The Pirelli tyres were working better today although at the end of SS9 - Monte Lerno, we lost grip 10 kms before the end.

“For the second pass through the stages we made some changes to the set up and it helped drivability of the car especially exiting corners. We hit a big stone on SS11 and broke left front wheel but luckily the ats worked fine. On the last stage of today we had a small moment because of a loose stone that you could not avoid. I am happy with the result of today, I'll try to keep the same safe pace tomorrow."
