Sebastien Ogier has vowed to keep the pressure on Monte Carlo Rally leader Mikko Hirvonen after closing to within 48 seconds of the Finnish driver by winning Friday´s opening stage.
Frenchman Ogier, who won the Intercontinental Rally Challenge opener last season, is currently
third overall in his Peugeot 207 Super 2000 with four stages remaining.
Following their arrival in the service park in Monaco earlier this afternoon, Ogier's co-driver Julien Ingrassia said: "We are here to push for the victory not settle for the position we have. If we get just a small chance to try and win then for sure we will take it."
Ogier (pictured in action earlier in the event) has won six stages of the 11 stages held so far.
