No changes on the next two rounds
The FIA has published the list of crews chosen by their teams to score points during the next two rounds of the World Rally Championship, the Acropolis Rally and Rally Poland.
On the Greek round of the championship, 47 crews are scheduled
to appear at the start ceremony on June 11th, including six WRC teams ranging from works operations to satellite outfits to a privateer effort.
French manufacturer Citroen will be represented as usual by five-time champion Sebastien Loeb
and teammate Dani Sordo, while Mikko Hirvonen and recent Rally Sardinia winner Jari-Matti Latvala will be racing for the official Ford team.
No changes at the satellite teams as well, as the roster is a copy of the Sardinian plan. Evgeny Novikov and Conrad Rautenbach will defend the Citroen Junior Team colours while Matthew Wilson and Henning Solberg do the same for the Stobart Ford outfit. Munchi's Ford will also be heading for Greece, with Federico Villagra driving the team's sole car.
Sebastien Ogier is set to race aboard the third Citroen Junior Team C4, but will not be eligible to score points; the situation is the same for Khalid Al Qassimi and his factory Ford Focus RS.
Mads Ostberg returns with his Adapta Team Subaru Impreza, but after completing her one-time contract, girlfriend Veronica Engan will be replaced in the co-driver's seat by Jonas Andersson.
Although aware that their upgraded Citroen Xsara suffered in the heat of Sardinia, Petter Solberg and his eponymous team intend to reach the top five again in the hotter conditions of the Acropolis Rally.
In regards to Rally Poland which takes place two weeks later, the same teams and crews have signed up with the exception of the Munchi's Ford outfit: the Argentine team will not be making the trip to the WRC's eighth round of the season.
