Sanremo: Entry listThe 49th edition of Rally Sanremo, which will be launched this evening, presents an exceptional list of contenders with no less than 18 Super 2000s at the start. Many Fiat Grande Puntos will therefore be fighting off a horde of Peugeot 207s.
Several
foreign drivers have signed aboard, with Gilles Panizzi noticeably on the list as he will try to win at Sanremo once again. Also representing the French-born contingent will be Nicolas Vouilloz, Brice Tirabassi et Julien Pressac.
Spaniards Enrique Garcia Ojeda and Dani Solŕ, Belgians Freddy Loix and Bernd Casier, and Bruno Magalhăes from Portugal should also be watched closely.
The rest of the field consists of the best Italian drivers racing in the Super 2000 and Group N categories.
