It's the Grand Prix on gravel! The 9th round of the FIA World Rally Championship will be Rally Finland, which will take place between 2-5 August in Jyväskylä.
Rally Finland is more than just a rally as its reputation is top-notch. What has become known as one of
the best WRC rallies in the world will be presenting its 57th edition in beautiful Central Finland and will be living up to its nickname, 'the Grand Prix on gravel.'
Over the years, the event has proven to be one of the best rallies in all of its aspects.
This year roughly half of the stages used in the 2006 route will be replaced with new itineraries. There will be 23 special stages, of which six will be driven over twice, and the total SS distance will be approximately 360 kilometres.
As the biggest annual spectator event in the Nordic Countries, Rally Finland will offer something for every fan and visitor.
On top of the huge jumps, fast gravel roads and scenic lake views, it is an event with several other activities.
The Super Special Stage offers rallying for those 'not-so-enthusiastic' fans, and the international atmosphere within Paviljonki's Rally HQ will be the setting for the Service Park, where cars will be dropping in for changes and verifications several times a day.
