Argentina : OMV Kronos Citroen WRT - FinishThe OMV Kronos Citroen World Rally Team has finished Rally Argentina in eighth place.
For Manfred Stohl and Ilka Minor this was the best result they could accomplish and therefore the 34-year-old OMV driver is not discontent
and hopes to be more competitive next time out.
“We definitely performed a good rally," said Stohl. "But unfortunately we have reached the limit as far as the material is concerned. It doesn't make sense to cry over spilt milk. We must look ahead. And we are still highly motivated."
Team chief Marc van Dalen also sees some positive sides to the sixth run to the FIA World Rally Championship.
“The team and the drivers did a really great job," he explained. "They have worked professionally and made no mistakes. We are somewhat behind since the Citroen Xsara WRC can't fully compete performance-wise. We will obviously do our all to change this."
