2004 P-WRC champion Niall McShea completed
a faultless and trouble-free day on the second Leg of Rally Argentina. After 159,16 kms of nine special stages over Leg 2, McShea and Noble climb up to 5th place amongst the P-WRC drivers, just 0.7 off Pozzo.
Niall McShea was happy to finish the day in a good position on his debut event with his Lukoil Rally Team Subaru Impreza.
"I have been here in Argentina twice but even with that experience I didn't push hard, to finish the event is the most important thing for me and the team. I have a fantastic feeling with the car and the tyres are just working perfect!," said Niall.
"It is an absolutely new experience for us because this is our first P-WRC programme with Lukoil. We have a champion driver, Niall is great, we have Atolye Kazaz with high rally experience and %100 Prodrive support," said Team Director Kiril Kipiani.
"This is an introduction year for the team but all the staff has been in motorsports for so many years that we have a great package. Argentina is a great event but a little bit unpredictable, anyway our main goal is to finish in a good position," concluded Kiril Kipiani.
