First wave of freight arrives at Villa Carlos PazThe Service Area in Villa Carlos Paz is getting ready for the forthcoming Rally. The first containers of the crews who will compete in Rally Argentina 2007, to be held next May 3rd to 6th under the auspices of the Automóvil
Club Argentino.
The first stage in transporting material was completed at the weekend, while the this week there will be a second wave of containers, and finally the teams will be arriving at our province to start building the structures they will use for the race, where they will service the cars and prepare the facilities.
There will be approximately 75 tones of cars and equipment in total. Fifty-two containers have been shipped with most of the cars, plus spare parts and the timekeeping equipment.
However, some competitors will use air-freight as well as the components used by the International Sportworld Communicators (ISC), in charge of the official images of the World Rally Championship.
The Service Park will open to cars and teams this coming Saturday, while the public can visit this Park from Wednesday May 2nd onwards.
