Last test before the beginning of the WSBK championshipTen Kate Honda and DFX Honda have finished their final pre-championship test at the Circuito di Ricardo Tomo, Valencia, last week.
Despite poor weather, which alternated over the two days between drenching the
track and blowing a gale, the two teams left Spain with happy with their results.
James Toseland set the best time for Dutch team Ten Kate with a lap of 1:35.4, eight tenths slower than the Pirelli test in November when weather conditions were prefect. His team mate Roberto Rolfo lapped in 1:36.5, two tenths better than his best lap of last year.
Team DFX's Michel Fabrizio made his mark with a 1:35.2 lap on race rubber, while his team mate Steve Martin was just 0.8 seconds slower.
The Honda Ten Kate Supersport team were also in action, with world champion Sébastien Charpentier setting a best time of 1:37.9 and Turkish rider Kenan Sofuoglu lapping 1:37.4.
