Barcelona: 125cc testFour riders clocked equal times in the 125cc class yesterday at Montmelò, the fastest of the day.
Lukas Pesek, Mattia Pasini, Pol Espargaro and Sergio Gadea were inseparable with 1'51.6 laps at the Spanish circuit, a sign of the closeness in
the lower cylinder category. With the exception of Espargaro, the riders all elected against a run-out during the overcast morning, and finally appeared from their pits when the track had somewhat dried.
Behind the top four, Gabor Talmacsi and Hector Faubel both joined the charge for the Aspar Team, riding two different versions of the Aprilia 125cc bike to go round in 1'51.9. Bradley Smith, the 2006 Rookie Of The Year, was only just slower on the Repsol Honda with a 1'52.3 lap at the scene of his first World Championship test last season, behind Joan Olive.
