Team Alstare to fine-tune its K7 in Qatar
Biaggi and Kagayama are back on track
Fans, riders, mechanics and everybody concerned have all been eagerly awaiting just one thing since October 2006: the start of the new season.

On February 24th, all eyes will converge on the Losail International Circuit in Qatar
for the first race of the 13-leg World Superbike Championship. But before the real battle begins, Team Alstare Suzuki Corona Extra have decided to take part in a final private test at the Qatari circuit.

On February 11th and 12th (next Sunday and Monday), Max Biaggi, Yukio Kagayama and their respective crews - along with Yamaha Motor Italia and Alto Evolution Honda - will besiege the Losail International Circuit for what promises to be two days of intensive testing. The 2007 bike has already been extensively prepared during the various pre-season tests, but Team Alstare's mechanics would like to make a few final adjustments to the new GSX-R 1000 K7.

The two-day test will be very useful for Yukio Kagayama and Max Biaggi as both would like to start the opening round of the championship with their machines perfectly tuned and ready.
Therefore, both will undoubtedly take full advantage of this final rehearsal before returning to Qatar, in less then two weeks. to do battle with the rest of the pack.
