Jakub leaves the GPs for Ducati SCCzech Republic rider Jakub Smrz will ride in the next World Superbike Championship.
The 24 year old from Jilovice has reached an agreement with team Ducati SC director Stefano Caracchi. Smrz will ride a Ducati 999F05 which he is due
to test before the first round of the championship at Qatar on the 24th of February.
The Czech rider rode an Aprilia 250 in Grand Prix last year, finishing the season in 12th place with a best 7th place in Turkey. Carachi and Smrz will meet shortly to finalise the contract.
