Possible retirement from racing for the Spaniard
All eyes will be on events in Barcelona tomorrow, as veteran rider Sete Gibernau prepares to give a press conference in the Spanish city in order to make clear his future plans.
The former MotoGP runner-up is currently
recovering from more surgery on his troublesome shoulder, an injury which affected him for a large part of last season.
The former Ducati Marlboro rider sees his place taken by Casey Stoner in 2007, and the comings and goings on the rider roundabout have left him with few available options for a ride in the premier class next season.
Although the exact subject of tomorrow's announcement is unknown, speculation abounds that Gibernau could be announcing a possible retirement from racing.
