For Suzuki family of riders
At the beginning of the week, Rizla Suzuki MotoGP gave the chance to five of Suzuki's racers from around the globe to ride the awesome GSV-R990 during a test session at Valencia in Spain.
Joining Rizla Suzuki MotoGP were; 17-year-old European
Superstock Champion Xavier Simeon, Cal Crutchlow - British Supersport Champion and recent signing for the Rizla Suzuki British Superbike team, Dutch racer Barry Veneman from World Supersport, Roman Stamm from Switzerland - three times 600cc Swiss Champion and Vincent Philippe - two times World Endurance Champion, three times Bol d'or winner and one time winner of the Le Mans 24hr race.
All riders were given track-time on the GSVR and were equally impressed by its raw performance but also by how easy the machine was to ride fast - all hoped that one day they would get the opportunity to ride it again.
The test was part of a journalist event to give writers from around the world the opportunity to ride the GSV-R and to give their views to the reading public about how a MotoGP bike feels in the hands of an everyday rider.
Suzuki's stars that were given the MotoGP opportunity are anything but ‘everyday' riders, and now they can add the thrill of riding the final 990cc GSV-R to their career experience.
