“I hope this is the first of a long series!”
The young Humangest Racing Team rider Andrea Dovizioso will receive the ‘Collare d'Oro', which represents the highest prize that CONI (Italian National Olympic Committee) has been given since 1995 to Olympic athletes, world champions
and winners of special international events.
Dovizioso receives this prize for having taken the 125cc World title in 2004. The ceremony will take place in Rome at the CONI Palace and the prizes will be given by the Italian premier Romano Prodi.
Andrea Dovizioso said: "I an very honoured and happy to receive such an important prize and actually I hope this is the first of a long series. I'm also happy for my team as they worked hard to achieve this significant goal."
