HRT and Dovizioso renew their agreement
“I'm really happy”
After the agreement with Yuki Takahashi for 2007, the Humangest Racing Team is glad to announce that the Italian rider Andrea Dovizioso, who has been linked to them since 2002 riding the RS 125 machine, will continue to race with Humangest Racing Team
also for 2007.

In 2004, Dovizioso and the Italian team took the world title with 5 wins and a total of 11 podiums in 16 races.

In 2005, Andrea moved up category and on the Honda RSW 250 he ended up third behind Pedrosa and Stoner. This year, Dovizioso and the Humangest Racing Team has taken the first victory in the quarter litre class and went on the podium 10 times in a championship that sees him still fighting for the world title, confirming he is a consistent rider and with a great talent.

The Humangest Racing Team is happy for Andrea to remain on a 250cc despite receiving several offers including MotoGP. The agreement is particularly important as HRC will support the team by working on the development of the bike of next season.

The great relationship with the management of the Humangest Racing Team and Honda and HRC engineer's trust brought the tenacious and talented Andrea to continue his work on the 250cc Honda machine for 2007 aiming to achieve more successes and the world title.

Humangest Racing Team
“We are very satisfied about how things have worked out. We have been working with Andrea since his debut in the MotoGP in 2002 and together we clinched the 125cc World Title in 2004. The change to 250cc wasn't easy for him and for the team, but together we have worked hard and this year we have reached a very high level. Andrea is a very talented rider and in the two previous years in 250cc class he gained experience and got used to the RSW 250cc, so we are sure that next year he can reach the expected goals.
The relationship with the team and with his team-mate is great so we strongly wanted this balance to continue and that the team keep working together even for next season”.

Andrea Dovizioso
“I am really happy about the agreement we were able to reach with the Humangest Racing Team and of the support received from HRC by guaranteeing us the development of this bike. In fact, starting from the test after Valencia GP we will start to test new parts. I'm very satisfied that Honda, the Humangest Racing Team Management and the sponsor believe in my skills and will work hard on the development scheduled for next season”.

Satoru Horiike – M. D. Honda Racing Corporation
“HRC are very happy to continue our relationship with Andrea for 2007 season. We are very much looking forward to working with Andrea and the Humangest Racing Team to do our best to win the 250cc title next season”.
