Talmacsi finishes ninth in Australia
After experiencing tyre problems
As it happened in Malaysia, a crash occurred at the first lap forced the Race Direction to stop with the red flag the Australian GP.
So the race re-started but it has been shorten to 15 laps.

At the second start, Gabor Talmacsi
tried to recover some positions but he finished the first lap in eleventh position, which is the same position in the starting grid.

With a very fast and competitive bike, Gabor was able to stay with the group of riders behind Bautista, but then he has to slow down the rhythm because the tyre wore out.

Michele Pirro, though, retired at lap 5.

Alvaro Bautista won the Australian GP and so he clinched his first world title.

GABOR TALMACSI #14 – 9th; 8th overall with 96 points
“Today the bike was very fast and I want to thanks the team because they did a good job. I could keep the pace of the other riders, but at five laps to go I had to slow down because the rear tyre wore out. The bike was sliding in the curves and I couldn't open the throttle as I did at the beginning. Congratulation to Alvaro Bautista, he really deserves the world title”.

MICHELE PIRRO #15 – retired
“I am not able to ride this bike and to feel confident on the Honda, so I decided to retire in the pit garage. I'm really sorry as I am not using the chance that has been offered to me”.
