“This is the best opportunity I have had so far”
The MotoGP World Championship heads into its final stage with five races to go, which decide the destiny of the titles.
In 125, Gabor Talmacsi arrives at Sepang strong of his third place clinched at Brno; the Hungarian
rider is very motivated and focused on finishing this season within the first six positions in the final classification.
"It has been special for me getting on the podium in my ‘home' GP at Brno, in front of numerous fans arrived from Hungary for me," said Gabor. "Of course, it has been easier at Brno as I know the track very well, but the team and I have grown and our relationship has definitely improved. I'm happy even because we have found a good base set-up and physically I feel very good."
"Next race will take place in Malaysia, which is a country I like very much, actually I'm leaving few days earlier because I want to get used to their weather but also meet some friends in Kuala Lumpur," he added. "This is one of my favourite tracks, but high temperatures make this GP quite tough. Anyway, I'm confident I can make a good race like I did in Czech Republic."
The second Honda bike of the Humangest Racing Team 125cc will be put into the hand of Michele Pirro, who substitutes Stefano Musco, injured last August the 27th during the 125cc Italian Championship at Misano Adriatico.
Michele is 20 years old and comes from Puglia, a region in south of Italy, and has made his debut as wild-card in the MotoGP World Championship in 2004 at Mugello and, in 2005, he made his first complete season in 125cc category riding a Malaguti.
"I'm very happy to get back in the MotoGP World Championship and most of all with the Humangest Racing Team. For me this is the best opportunity I have had so far: it's a pleasure riding a Honda and be supported by a so high level team," said Michele Pirro. "Next week I go to Sepang with the intention to do my best and try to bring home a good result. This is not the first time I ride in Sepang, already last year I took part at the Malaysian GP with Malaguti, but actually, I was forced to retire. Anyway, the circuit is nice, I like it!"
