After tough Malaysain GPIt wasn't the best race of the season, this is for sure, but Alice Team riders, Toni Elias and Sylvain Guintoli, have done what was possible yesterday in one of the most difficult races of the season.
Starting from the last position, Elias
also received a penalty for jump-start and had to go for ride through which made him lose many seconds. This hasn't taken his morale down, but instead the Spanish rider has maintained a good rhythm that made him conquer some positions concluding in fifteenth position.
Also Sylvain didn't start in the best way, concluding the firsts three laps in last position. But lap after lap the French rider made it to find a good feeling overtaking Aoki, Melandri and De Angelis. Alice Team obtains four points for the Teams' World Championship remaining in the battle for sixth position.
Next World Championship round in Valencia for the final race of the season.

It has been a difficult race for everybody. Weather conditions were incredible with 42 degrees in the air and 60 on track. In the race we maintained the rhythm found during practice therefore we have done what was possible. We made it to overtake Melandri and De Angelis in the last part of the race gaining some points for the championship. I am sorry for Toni because if he hadn't done that mistake he would have surely done a good race as he maintained a good rhythm.
Sylvain Guintoli Alice Team rider (13th in the race 13th in the Championship with 63 points)
I started really bad.
I didn't have much feeling with the front part of the bike in the first few laps. Then I probably got used to them and I could push more overtaking Melandri and De Angelis. For how the weekend has gone I can consider my self satisfied. Anyway I hope to do better in Valencia on a track I really like.
Toni Elias Alice Team rider (15th in the race 12th in the Championship with 92 points)
This has been one of the most difficult weekend for me. We had too many problems. I apologize with my Team for the mistake I made, but I wanted to start in the best way possible. Then I found a good rhythm improving lap after lap. I am trustful for Valencia race, I will be at home and I want to do really well.
