Taking on Rubens Barrichello
2006 will be a 'crunch year' for Honda's Jenson Button. That's the warning of legendary commentator Murray Walker, who told The People tabloid that Button’s new pairing with Rubens Barrichello will show what he's made of.

Former Jordan racer gets the test role
On the day of the launch of their 2006 season race car, the FW28, WilliamsF1 confirmed the appointment of Narain Karthikeyan as the team’s fourth driver.
Karthikeyan, dubbed ‘The fastest Indian in the World,’ first tested for the team early December and impressed the team with his skill and capability in the car.

If you listen to the muses of the F1 grapevine, then Mercedes-Benz could be preparing to buy the remaining slice of McLaren.

Bahrain's Grand Prix organisers have invited all Formula One teams to the island nation to test at the track next month.

Prodromou to leave McLaren Mercedes
For a new role at Red Bull Ferrari
Red Bull has confirmed speculation that, just like Adrian Newey before him, aero chief Peter Prodromou has defected from McLaren Mercedes.
