Stealing $900,000 from the BRDC
A former official of the club that owns British GP venue Silverstone has been convicted for stealing just under $900,000.
51-year-old Stephen Beattie, ex-finance controller of the BRDC who was fired in 2004, stole money by illegally making out dozens of cheques in his name.
