No rain in Melbourne
A dry race predicted
The rain should stay away for today's Australian Grand Prix in cloudy and sunny Melbourne.
Patches of grey cloud can be seen above the chilly Albert Park circuit on the morning of race day, but blue sky is also a feature as forecasts agree that showers are not too likely.

Toro Rosso will be pretty pleased with Tonio Liuzzi's qualifying effort today in Australia. The Italian's lap of 1:27.219s was good enough to see him out-qualify Christian Klien in the Red Bull Ferrari and was just two-tenth off David Coulthard's best time in his RB2.

Williams Cosworth did not display the pace in qualifying this weekend in Australia as they did two weeks ago in Malaysia where they swept the second row. Today Mark Webber out in a solid performance to qualify seventh while Nico Rosberg had a more troubled session and starts 14th.

Australian GP - Super Aguri Honda - Qualifying
It was a difficult session today for the Super Aguri Honda team with both Takuma Sato and Yuji Ide never looking likely to do anything other than qualify at the back.

Takuma Sato starts 21st after recording a 1:32.279s lap while Ide was way off the pace and set a 1:36.164s best between spins.

After Nick Heidfeld and Jacques Villeneuve set the best times in the third practice session this morning, they finished qualifying for the Australian GP in eighth and ninth positions respectively.
