Fisichella to lead Renault team in 2007?

According to the latest rumour, Giancarlo Fisichella has been told that he will lead the Renault team into the 2007 season.

Tyre selection an issue at Honda
Renault's Pat Symonds has hit out at rivals Honda, suggesting that 'arrogance' might be slowing the Japanese carmaker down this season.
He told the Telegraph newspaper that, although Jenson Button's car appears quick, key engineers have fudged the choice of Michelin tyres at every Grand Prix so far.

Honda's Otmar Szafnauer has answered coyly to whether the Japanese carmaker is still a '100 per cent' supporter of Super Aguri.
Keen to provide the ousted Takuma Sato with a 2006 home, Honda worked hard to help get Aguri Suzuki's squad up and running, but speculation hints that full support may now be waning.

All may not be well within Renault's Imola motorhome, with World Champion and McLaren Mercedes defector Fernando Alonso claiming that his team had 'never helped' him.

Michael Schumacherís 1:24.751s set in the morning session at San Marino today remained the fastest lap of the day despite the best efforts of the 28 runners to improve in the afternoon session. Fernando Alonso actually set the pace in the second session on a 1:25.043s, despite a lurid grassy moment in his all-conquering R26.
