The much-anticipated Audi Vs Pescarolo battle fell firmly the way of Audi and their Diesel-powered R10 in the second day of qualifying yesterday at Le Mans. The two R10s will start from the front row on Saturday afternoon.

A1 Grand Prix’s Executive Board and Seatholders met in London to discuss the upcoming season and a variety of changes, both commercial and technical, to be implemented in the Series’ second season to commence 1 October in Zandvoort, the Netherlands.

This time in a case involving Richard Woods
Controversial F1 journalist Tom Rubython is heading back to court, this time to be sued by the FIA's Richard Woods.
Last month, the top figure at magazine 'Business F1' copped a $380,000 bill after a London High Court judge ruled in favour of former Jaguar principal Tony Purnell's libel action.

Sato hints at French SA06 debut
SA05 showing its age according to Sato
Takuma Sato has hardened speculation that he could be driving a new Super Aguri car by the time F1 returns from its American trip next month.
The Japanese was disappointed by the outdated SA05's appalling lack of pace at Silverstone, but Sato reported excitement that a brand new challenger is finally nearing completion.

McLaren Mercedes completed its final day of testing this week at the Paul Ricard circuit in the south of France.

Pedro de la Rosa and Gary Paffett completed a combined total of 173 laps, the Spaniard's fastest in 1’23”858 and the Briton’s best in 1’24”221.
