Speed not bothered about F1's US future

Scott Speed, the first American in F1 since Michael Andretti in 1993, says he is not concerned if the sport 'becomes big' in the US.
"For me, honestly, it personally doesn't matter," the Californian, who debuted for Toro Rosso this year, was quoted as saying by CBS.

Ferrari Team Principal Jean Todt admitted that his team's effort in Sunday's Canadian Grand Prix had become a damage limitation exercise after Michael Schumacher finished second to Fernando Alonso and their respective teammates finishing fourth and fifth.

McLaren is not going to win the 2006 title, Mercedes' Norbert Haug declared after Kimi Raikkonen finished just third in Canada.
Kimi, a Finn, is not only 41 points behind Renault's Fernando Alonso after the Montreal event, but also eighteen points behind current runner-up Michael Schumacher.

Prospective team owner Michiel Mol has denied reports that a 'letter of intent' regarding his offer to buy MF1 from Midland's Alex Shnaider has now been signed.
