US GP - Toyota - Qualifying
Toyota came away with mixed results from today's qualifying session for the US Grand Prix. Under hot and sunny skies at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Ralf Schumacher enjoyed a good afternoon's work and made it into the final phase of qualifying, taking eight place in the final shoot-out.

Disappointment for Raikkonen and Montoya at Indianapolis
US GP - McLaren Mercedes - Qualifying
Kimi Raikkonen will start tomorrow's United States Grand Prix from ninth position while Juan Pablo Montoya failed to make the final phase of qualifying blaming traffic. The Colombian starts his race from 11th position as the team admit that Bridgestone runners have the edge.

Rubens Barrichello will start tomorrow's US Grand Prix from the second row of the grid at the Brickyard after posting the fourth fastest lap in this afternoon's qualifying session. Team-mate Jenson Button will line up in seventh place.

After three trouble free practice sessions, the BMW Sauber squad is happy with its best starting position of the season. Webber and Rosberg struggle for pace
US GP - Williams Cosworth - Qualifying
Mark Webber will start the US Grand prix from 12th position as the Williams Cosworth team continue to struggle at Indianapolis. While Ferrari underlined in qualifying that Bridgestone is the tyre to have at this track, Webber and in particular Nico Rosberg, struggled for pace. Rosberg starts back in 19th position.

US GP - Toro Rosso Cosworth - Qualifying
On home soil Scott Speed did a solid job for Toro Rosso Cosworth to qualify in 13th position for the US Grand Prix - his best qualifying performance to date.
While Speed was delighted with his run, Tonio Liuzzi found his STR1 a real handful and starts a disappointed 21st.

Alonso confident ahead of US GP
No concerns with Friday pace
Fernando Alonso was in a confident mood at Indianapolis on Friday despite lapping more than 1.4s slower than the pace-setting Honda of Anthony Davidson. Alonso was however not too concerned about Friday form, completing only 14 laps all day compared to the 65 of the Briton.
