Bernie Ecclestone believes the future of the United States Grand Prix can be resolved very soon.

The future of the race has been in doubt ever since a 14-car boycott over tyre safety left only six cars to start last year's event, prompting angry fans to hiss and boo at the sport.

Schumacher's Indianapolis domination
US GP - Fastest Laps
Ferrari qualified one-two for the US Grand Prix and repeated the result in the race itself. Schumacher qualified on a 1:10.832s lap with race fuel but never had to push hard in the race itself and still managed a best lap of 1:12.719s on lap 56.

McLaren keep it simple following double DNF

19 points to gain – starting at Magny Cours
After carving six points out of Fernando Alonso's lead at Indianapolis, Michael Schumacher says he is still in the chase for the 2006 title.
