Toyota has recorded its second consecutive fourth-place finish after Ralf Schumacher took five points at today's French Grand Prix. Running on a two-stop strategy Schumacher battled strongly throughout. Super Aguri Honda driver Franck Montagny took the chequered flag in 16th position for his home race, the 2006 French Grand Prix, today. A double retirement in the French Grand Prix this afternoon completed a disappointing weekend for Honda in Magny Cours.
After a reasonable start to the race with both Rubens Barrichello and Jenson Button making up a position off the start, the afternoon ultimately ended in retirement for both drivers.
