At the end of the first lap today in turkey, things looked very good indeed for Mark Webber and Nico Rosberg as both had made the best of a frantic first lap to move firmly into the top eight.

To tie-in with Fernando Alonso's arrival, McLaren Mercedes is nearing a sponsorship deal for 2007 with Spanish bank 'Banesto', according to reports from Istanbul on Sunday.
