Alonso spends a week with his new team
Adapting to the McLaren Mercedes team
Back to back World Champion Fernando Alonso spent this week with his new team in the town of Woking.

It is understood that the 25-year-old Spaniard, after his 2007 contract triggered officially on 1 January, travelled to the English borough in order to integrate fully with the McLaren squad.

Flavio Briatore has scoffed at reports that he is preparing to bid for Italian football club Parma.

Parma FC's bankrupt owner, food company Parmalat, said this week that it was trying to sell the club.

The Ferrari CEO and current Team Principal was named a Chevalier - the fifth highest category - of the 'Ordre National de la Legion d'honneur (Legion of Honour) in 2001.
