Pedro de la Rosa says he has not given up on returning to the F1 grid one day soon.

Christijan Albers joined spectators at the weekend for the start of the Dakar rally.
250 competitors on Saturday left Lisbon, Portugal, for the world's toughest off-road race consisting of cars, motorbikes and trucks.

Rare 'flyaway' F1 tests early this year will be staged in Bahrain and Malaysia, we can confirm.
Prior to the start of the 2007 season, Bridgestone has now agreed to supply tyres for six days of winter testing at the Bahrain Grand Prix venue Sakhir, with at least five teams understood to have already confirmed their attendance.

NASCAR door still open to Villeneuve
According to Craig Pollock
Jacques Villeneuve's manager has dismissed as "ludicrious" newspaper reports that said the 1997 World Champion had missed his chance to switch to NASCAR in 2007.

Craig Pollock, who also ran the BAR team for several years, told the Montreal Gazette that a deal could be in place by the end of the month.
