Ralf doubts impact of new tyre rule

Ralf Schumacher has joined a growing list of drivers who doubt that a new tyre rule will succeed in spicing up the Formula One action in 2007.

As an antidote to the end of the tyre war, runners will be compelled this year to use both specifications of Bridgestone in each race.

A three day test later this year at Belgium's famous Spa Francorchamps circuit has been shown a green light.

It emerged recently that teams were considering running at the scene of September's race instead of heading to the usual summer test venue, Circuit de Catalunya in Spain.

A group of Canadian Formula One fans are pressing ahead with plans to sue organisers of the Grand Prix in Montreal.
