Bahrain GP - McLaren Mercedes - Qualifying
McLaren Mercedes drivers Lewis Hamilton and Heikki Kovalainen will start Sunday’s Bahrain Grand Prix from third and fifth positions respectively.

In Saturday’s qualifying, Hamilton set a time of 1:33.292s, less than two tenths of a second behind pole position. Kovalainen’s time was 1:33.488s.

Bahrain GP - Toro Rosso Ferrari - Qualifying
Sebastien Bourdais seems to be making a good transition from the US Champ Car scene to Formula One. Ahead of his third start with Toro Rosso Ferrari, the Frenchman put in a strong performance to make it into the second round of qualifying. He lines up 15th while Sebastian Vettel was a frustrated 19th.

Bahrain GP - Red Bull Renault - Qualifying
David Coulthard admitted after qualifying that he is not happy with the balance of his Red Bull Renault. Qualifying for the Bahrain Grand Prix saw the veteran racer fail to make it into Q2 and lines up a disappointing 17th.

Bahrain GP - Williams Toyota - Qualifying
Having enjoyed relative competitiveness at the Sakhir circuit in the past, the Williams Toyota team was able to make a positive step forwards from its qualifying performance at the last race in Malaysia, although the team was only able to get one car through to Q3, leaving further room for improvement.

The Force India Formula One Team will start tomorrow's Bahrain Grand Prix with Giancarlo Fisichella and Adrian Sutil in 18th and 20th positions.

Bahrain GP - Super Aguri Honda - Qualifying
Anthony Davidson and Takuma Sato declared themselves satisfied with the changes made overnight at Super Aguri Honda.

Qualifying itself was a brief affair for Takuma Sato who spun exiting the final turn and made contact with the inside retaining wall.

Bahrain GP - Red Bull Renault - Practice
A solid final lap of the second practice session ahead of the Bahrain Grand Prix, saw David Coulthard set the seventh fastest time, splitting the Williams Toyota duo of Nico Rosberg and Kazuki Nakajima.

Mark Webber too was pretty happy with his Red Bull Renault, as he set the 13th best time of the 22 runners.

Sebastien Bourdais ended the first day of running in Bahrain pretty content with his ninth fastest time. Toro Rosso Ferrari team-mate Sebastian Vettel was less thrilled however after ending the afternoon session a distant 20th of the 22 runners and not sure where to gain time.
