Mark Webber may have made a mistake by leaving Williams, according to Sir Jackie Stewart.

The veteran Scot, in Australia for the first race of 2007, described Webber's fleeing to a seemingly less competitive team 'ironic' for the 30-year-old.

Michael Schumacher will not be attending this weekend's Australian Grand Prix, his spokeswoman has confirmed.
