Heinz Schiller, Kolles and Davidson
Former Formula One driver Heinz Schiller has died at the age of 77. The Swiss officially contested just one world championship race - the 1962 German Grand Prix at the Nurburgring. Schiller's privately entered Lotus-BRM broke down with an oil pressure problem after just three laps of the famous 23km Nordschleife layout.

Minor safety tweaks at Sepang
Testing underway in Malaysia
Sepang has been ordered to make minor repairs prior to next weekend's Malaysian Grand Prix.

Ahead of the start of pre-race testing on Tuesday, FIA safety delegate Charlie Whiting conducted his regular pre-event inspection and asked for improvements to guard rails and tyre barriers.

Authority clarifies F1 cocaine reports
No evidence linking to any racer
Australia's anti-doping authority has sought to clarify reports that cocaine was found at a hotel used by F1 drivers during the recent Australian Grand Prix.

It was reported that the sport's organising bodies had been informed of the discovery of the offending bags at the Parkview Hotel.

Ecclestone keen on Paris venue
Disneyland Park linked with potential Grand Prix
If Bernie Ecclestone had his way, the French grand prix would move from rural Magny Cours to the capital city Paris.

In the French magazine Autohebdo, the 76-year-old referred to a Formula One race in Paris as a longstanding 'dream'.

World Champion Fernando Alonso is apparently resigned to finishing behind dominant Ferraris for the next few Grand Prix.

The McLaren Mercedes driver, who finished second to Kimi Raikkonen in Melbourne just over a week ago, admitted to the magazine Kicker that his MP4-22 is currently not a match for its red rival.

Paul Stoddart has leapt to the defence of Heikki Kovalainen following his poor Grand Prix debut with Renault in Melbourne.

Stoddart, the former Minardi boss, gave a then 22-year-old Kovalainen a two day test at Vallelunga at the end of 2003 and nearly signed the Finn to race.

Honda to open up the factory doors
Chariry open day in July
Honda will open its doors to the public on Sunday 15 July for its very first Team Charity Open Day.
