An eventful German Grand Prix ended in disappointment for the Honda team after a series of incidents involving both drivers resulted in only Jenson Button taking the chequered flag in 17th position.

German GP - Red Bull Renault - Race
Starting eighth and tenth, Mark Webber and David Coulthard had hoped to score points for Red Bull Renault this afternoon in Germany.

Following the safety car at mid-distance, Webber's Renault V8 began to put out smoke and sure enough a few laps later the RB4 was parked at the side of the circuit and out of the race.

It was not a good home event for the Toyota team as they would have hoped for. Starting from fourth position Jarno Trulli ran well early on but then slipped back thought the field. A spin in the late stages saw him drop to ninth position and out of the points.
