The RB3 is the first Red Bull chassis to be led by Newey, who with Williams
and McLaren earned a reputation for designing championship winning packages. So far, the 2007 Red Bull is about a second and a half on average slower than the leading pace.
"Adrian is only one individual and he can only work with the tools that he has at his disposal at the factory," Coulthard told German broadcaster Premiere.
"Clearly those tools are a little different to what he had at
McLaren."
"It is only the first year for him, but there is no secret to success in Formula One. You simply need time and continuity."
