The draw of Monte CarloA poll has named the Monaco Grand Prix as the most sought-after sporting holiday in 2007.
'Cheapflights' found that 33 per cent of those surveyed picked the glamorous Formula One street race when asked which event they would most like to attend
if money were no object.
The race in Monte Carlo polled higher than the rugby World Cup in France, the World Masters Surfing championship in Puerto Rico, the Melbourne Cup hose race and the Champions League final in Greece.
"It seems the excitement of speed is the biggest draw card for jet-setting sport fanatics," said Cheapflights' CEO David Soskin.
