Another football-racing concept...Despite the failure of the near-identical 'Premier1' concept a few years ago, a new racing category aims to unite motorsport with international football.
On Tuesday at AC Milan's world-famous San Siro stadium, 'Superleague Formula'
will be launched, and top soccer clubs including PSV Eindhoven, FC Porto and Olympiakos have also signed up.
The championship intends to be up and racing on European circuits next year, using F1-style 750bhp single seaters that are coloured in the liveries of their respective football clubs.
