Heinz Schiller, Kolles and DavidsonFormer Formula One driver Heinz Schiller has died at the age of 77. The Swiss officially contested just one world championship race - the 1962 German Grand Prix at the Nurburgring. Schiller's privately entered Lotus-BRM broke down with
an oil pressure problem after just three laps of the famous 23km Nordschleife layout.
F1 Team Principal Colin Kolles would have quit the sport had former owner Alex Shnaider not sold the Silverstone based team to Spyker, it has emerged. The Dutch publication Sportweek claims that, concerned about Midland mogul Shnaider's hesitation at the $160m offer last year, he sought Bernie Ecclestone's support to see a change of ownership at the team.
Anthony Davidson is in Kuala Lumpur and intends to test this week at Sepang. The British racer left the Albert Park circuit after the Australian Grand Prix on a stretcher, after injuring a muscle in his back in a clash with Spyker's Adrian Sutil. But despite spending a night in hospital, 27-year-old Davidson looked fully fit at Sepang on Tuesday.
