No evidence linking to any racerAustralia's anti-doping authority has sought to clarify reports that cocaine was found at a hotel used by F1 drivers during the recent Australian Grand Prix.
It was reported that the sport's organising bodies had been informed of the
discovery of the offending bags at the Parkview Hotel.
But the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority (ASADA) insists that there is no evidence of a doping violation, despite the discovery of the bag containing a syringe and plastic vials in a common area of the hotel.
ASADA said: "(We have) at this time has no evidence which links the prohibited substance to an in-competition violation of doping rules by either an athlete or athlete support person."
The investigation into the incident was also closed, media reports added.
