Fiat to sponsor Rossi’s Yamaha...Valentino Rossi's MotoGP team Yamaha has finally confirmed that it will be title sponsored by the Italian carmaker Fiat for the next two years.
Fiat owns 85 per cent of Scuderia Ferrari, who Rossi tested for last year before deciding
to stay on two wheels for now.
"My future is just rumours, and not linked with the sponsor," 27-year-old Rossi, who was present for the unveiling on Monday of the blue, red and white Fiat-branded bike, said last month.
At the Milan event, Yamaha said Rossi's team would be known as 'Fiat Yamaha' this year.
The 2007 MotoGP season starts this weekend in Qatar.
