BMW Sauber chase reliable running
Set to compromise speed for reliability
BMW Sauber is likely to compromise some of its speed for better reliability for the season-opening Australian Grand Prix.

That is the revelation of Polish driver Robert Kubica, whose concerns about the fragility of the F1.07
racer apparently continued in Bahrain on Tuesday when he broke down twice on the way to setting the fourth quickest time of the test.

"We are still having some problems," he said, "so before we go to Melbourne we need to find the right compromise between reliability and performance."

Observers have applauded the impressive pace of the Hinwil built car and even tipped Kubica and team-mate Nick Heidfeld as outside bets for race wins, but the 22-year-old rookie expressed fears that the pre-season has now entered its last test week.

The car's hydraulics system is reportedly the biggest issue, leading Kubica to reportedly predict a 'difficult' weekend in Melbourne.
