Fernando Alonso worked through the day’s plan of Bridgestone Potenza evaluation and set-up options with the MP4-22 without any problems, completing a race distance
in the afternoon.
Unfortunately Lewis Hamilton's similar programme ended two hours early when he stopped on track with an oil leak.
Alonso was third fastest overall in his MP4-22, six-tenths off the ultimate pace, while Hamilton was fifth fastest.
